In the Resolution of 30 September 2016, the CNMC makes available to interested parties its system of electronic notifications, pursuant to the provisions of Law 39/2015, of 1 October. Being notified by this method can be much faster, and allows accessing the contents of the notice 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, facilitating communications with the CNMC.
With this system of notifications, the CNMC is responsible for directly informing interested parties of the availability of their notices. This courtesy notice is sent by email to one or more email addresses and by a short message (SMS) to one or more mobile phones, but the notices are not regarded as a telematic notification, but simply as a facilitator.
Access to electronic notifications
To download the notification, you will need a digital certificate that proves that you are the addressee of the notification, and you must go to the electronic address of the electronic notification portal:
In the notifications received tab, you will see the list of notifications. For each, you can accept it to see its content, reject it or take no action. Ten calendar days after it is made available, if it has not been accepted or rejected, the notification will expire and be deemed to be rejected. This will be noted in the file and the procedure will be deemed to have been carried out.
Provide data to be notified electronically and receive notices of availability
Anyone with a digital certificate can access the electronic notification system. In order to receive notifications by this means, you have to fill in the following form, which provides the NIF of the certificate holder to notify and an email address and mobile phone, where you wish to be informed of the availability of the notification.
Subjects not required to communicate electronically with the CNMC can inform the CNMC of how they wish to be notified by completing and submitting the standard form.
Who can use this service?
This service is intended for any individual or legal entity that interacts with the CNMC due to a specific proceeding. Only persons who have been designated as contact persons for notification purposes, duly certified in their own right or as legitimate representatives, may be notified by this means.
How can I check what contacts I have authorised to access notifications?
From the contact consultation page, with an electronic certificate of representation, you can see which contacts have been designated by the entity or company associated with the certificate in certain procedures of the electronic office - review the notice -.
Likewise, with an individual electronic certificate, you can review your contact information provided by the companies or entities that have allowed you to receive courtesy notices and to access their notifications and communications, in certain procedures of the electronic office - review the notice-.
A digital certificate for a natural or legal person or representative that has been issued by any provider of certification services that has made the required notification to the Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transformación Digital, pursuant to Article 30 of Law 59/2003,of 19 December,de firma electrónica, and by the DNI-e, issued by the Directorate of the Police.
